Renders copy the way it would be sent, against a real prospect in the ICP, without saving anything. Spintax is resolved to one of its options and personalisation tokens to that prospect's values, so this is how you confirm generated copy is correctly formatted before you create a template from it.
Send the copy as bodyText and subjectText, the same shorthand Create Email Template takes, and it is converted exactly as it would be on the way in: a token naming no known field is rejected here rather than reaching a prospect. htmlContent and subjectHtml are the dashboard editor's HTML and may be sent instead. Send one form or the other, never both.
Sender tokens stay unresolved, because they are filled from the sending mailbox at send time. A sample contact is used when the ICP has no prospects yet.
To see how saved per-contact copy builds for a particular prospect, use Get Prospect Email Copy instead.
